The most popular place in town for live music is Mike's Place, on 37 Jaffa St. There are some pool tables, it's open from 4 pm to 5 am and there's also a happy hour (4 - 9 pm). If you're into jazz, a great place to go is Pargod Theatre, on 94 Bezalel St., especially on Fridays, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, when there are jam sessions. That's where I like to hang out and I can tell you most of the times the stuff you hear there sounds great.
